Sgt. Jordan Teegardin, a disabled veteran, founded Ascension Servers with the aim of making gaming more accessible to everyone. His inspiration came after he was permanently banned from his 15-year-old account due to the use of mods. The company that banned him provided no recourse or understanding of his disability-related need for mods. Later that year, his autistic son began experiencing similar accessibility challenges in his own games. With 12 years of server management experience, Sgt. Teegardin embarked on a mission to improve gaming for all, along with his son.

Together, they founded a company that empowers disabled gamers and everyday users by offering fully customizable and pre-configured modded servers to enhance the gaming experience. Ascension Servers are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of each user AND empower and enable the uniquely abled to specifically enjoy the ability to participate in gaming- in previously impossible ways. We firmly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the world of gaming, and disability should never be a barrier to participation.
